Evocative of the soothing warmth of Provencal fields, we are delighted to announce our new colourway for 2023 – Lavender.

Available as a colour option across our entire range of Everhot Cookers as well as our Stoves, Lavender has quickly become one of the key colours for interior design trends this year.

Considered therapeutic, Lavender is a calming tone which brings an air of tranquillity into what is often the busiest room in the house. Chosen for its ability to complement traditional range cooker farmhouses and country cottages as well as minimalist city kitchens; Lavender can be paired with woods, marbles, pale blues, sage greens, creams, and shades of taupe, enabling a wealth of kitchen design ideas.

In this image, we have paired our Lavender Everhot 110i with mushroom-coloured cupboards and a stone floor with accents of pale blue. Blue and lavender work incredibly well together – just visualise the sunny blue skies of Provence over the fields of swaying lavender.

Our design focus here is evocative of bringing the outdoors in with hints of lavender growing in the garden. A style of living many of us have adopted since lockdown with open plan kitchens acting as our principal living spaces leading straight out into the garden to enable a constant connection with the outside.

The Lavender 110i is one of seven cooker widths which we build here in Gloucestershire. The ‘i’ model features our hot and simmer plates alongside a two-zone induction hob. The cooker itself has three full size ovens each with independent temperature controls hidden behind the fourth door.

Here we have chosen to pair the Lavender 90i with Shaker cupboards painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Stirabout’. This set is on display in our Showroom in the Cotswolds and if you would like to come and take a look you are more than welcome to book an appointment. If you aren’t local then many of our Retailers have a number of colour options for you to see in person, alternatively you can order a Brochure together with a colour card giving you a sample to consider.

Inspired by trends forecasting company, WGSN, who chose Digital Lavender as their Colour of the Year for 2023, Lavender was chosen for its representation of wellness and a belief that the serenity of this tone brings the balance and stability we have all been craving. Instantly encouraging feelings of sanctuary in the kitchen.

Unsure about which colour to choose? Don’t worry. Even if you are considering Lavender but don’t want to commit just yet, we only ask you for your final colour choice six weeks before delivery of your Everhot cooker. So you can go ahead and order, and make a last minute decision when you’re ready.
