FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

General questions regarding Everhot cookers

Can I collect and install it myself?2023-03-16T18:13:35+00:00

We would discourage this although we realise that if you want to export the cooker it may be the only way. Our installation charges are not expensive and allow us to make sure that everything is left as it should be – there is nothing worse than a cooker that is not level for instance. The weight of our cookers should not be underestimated – they are VERY HEAVY!

How do I place an order for an Everhot cooker?2023-03-16T18:10:51+00:00

Just give your local dealer a call and they will be happy to help.

When is your showroom open and do I need to make an appointment?2023-03-16T18:10:30+00:00

We are open between Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm, please use our ‘Book A Visit’ page to arrange an appointment.

How easy is it to clean?2025-08-18T12:48:28+00:00

The hotplates and ovens are always at working temperature and therefore any food spilt on them will carbonise and can be swept away. The stainless steel sections may sometimes benefit from cleaning with Barkeepers Friend and a light scouring pad. The rest of the cooker (exterior and stainless steel surfaces) should be wiped with a damp cloth after use.

If you would like your Everhot professionally cleaned we recommend OvenGleamers. Their technicians have regular training with us and use approved products, ensuring a great result. You can find them at OvenGleamers.
Can I take my Everhot with me if I move house?2023-03-16T18:09:39+00:00

This is one of the great advantages of the Everhot – it can move house with you – although it does weigh at least 250KG (EVH 60) and some removal companies may ask that you utilise our services.

Does it get too warm in the summer?2023-05-09T19:07:59+00:00

Of course this will depend on the size and orientation of your kitchen, and the size of cooker you choose. Although an Everhot is designed to remain on, its flexibility means that you can turn an oven off or down, or turn the hot plate off during warmer summer months and instead rely on the induction hob which comes with our i models. This is why our i models are so popular, they offer excellent versatility for a year round range cooker.

What sort of guarantee is offered on an Everhot?2023-03-16T18:08:38+00:00

We offer a parts and labour warranty for 24 months following purchase – although our heating elements are covered for 5 years (parts and labour).

Does an Everhot need annual servicing?2023-03-16T18:08:12+00:00

No regular servicing is required – a substantial cost saving over the life of the product.

How does an Everhot compare to other ranges like Agas/Rayburns?2023-03-16T18:07:26+00:00

The principle is very similar however our product offers a great deal more control than the majority of other heat storage ranges – this enables you to set exact cooking temperatures if required – or even to turn off part of the cooker whilst leaving the rest on. It also incorporates a grill.

It is therefore possible for example to have two adjacent simmer plates when cooking jam or two roasting ovens on Christmas morning.

How much power does an Everhot use on average?2024-05-13T09:55:11+00:00

When set at our recommended cooking temperatures our 2 and 3 oven cookers will consume between 75 and 90kWh of electricity per week.

Can I run my Everhot cooker on a solar diverter?2024-05-13T09:57:48+00:00

No, our cookers need 230V, however you can use our small Stoves and Heaters with a solar diverter as they have no electronics.
